NGWM16

Hit the ground running in January with only two weeks to prepare for the Nordic Geological Winter Meeting (NGWM), which were held in Helsinki on 13th to 15th Jan.

I gave a talk on the micro-drilling methods we've been using for zircon sampling and a poster on the geochronological results. Also participated in preparations of three other presentations, which totaled the Wintermeeting at five personal contributions, and chaired a session of Fennoscandian granitic magmatism.

Met a lot of people and had a cool meeting! Didn't have enough time for the social events though, and the poster sessions were organized a bit weirdly in between oral sessions but otherwise all was good.

With that, the quota for scientific meetings is full for the time being... time to concentrate on getting some new material published.
